SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

   With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

No "Target" found when attempting to connect to STM32F4DISCOVERY Discovery kit as a *Target*

I recently upgraded my laptop (from a 2013 MBP TO A 2019 MBP). For my now former laptop (2013 model), I had no issue with System workbench or my STM32F4DISCOVERY Discovery board.

However, with the new laptop, as I just downloaded all latest versions of STM workbench and CubeMX, I can not connect to my discovery board (target), as File > Target is not found.

Compilation is successful with zero errors or warnings. This is a very basic test, as I’m learning to use this board on Udemy. The old code is still loaded on the board and still works fine. When I disconnect the USB cable to the discovery board, Mac OS will complain that “disc was not properly ejected” < which is fine and normal, but indicates perhaps the issue lies with some configuration within the toolchain or SW? Or is this related to the new laptop having never seen this board before (via USB)?
