SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

WinXP?

Does the current version run in WinXP Pro SP3?

WinXP is a perfectly good operating system, and I will not migrate to another OS simply because the publisher desires to sell new product.

Are you quite alright? You seem to be hammered. OpenSTM32 is free, what do you mean “sell new product”? To answer your question, yes it is working on WinXP Pro SP3.

Hi hammer,

We do not support Windows XP, just because we have no more test machines running under XP which is no more available or maintained, but it may work, and has been used by some people on XP Pro SP3, but we can’t promise neither that it will work flawlessly nor that it will continue to work in the future...

Of course YMMV
