STM32MP1 support available in SW4STM32

   With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world.
And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4; you can download a short video showcasing this on the ac6-tools website (registration required).

System Workbench for STM32

SW 1.3 - HAL 1.7 - several "could not be resolved" warnings

Hi, I update SW and HAL firmware, then make an empty workspace, make a new project with HAL firm library and add this SystemClock_Config function:

void SystemClock_Config(void)
{

RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct;
RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct;
RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct;

__PWR_CLK_ENABLE();

__HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2);

RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE;
RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON;
RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON;
RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE;
RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLM = 7;
RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLN = 196;
RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLP = RCC_PLLP_DIV4;
RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLQ = 7;
HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct);

RCC_ClkInitStruct.ClockType = RCC_CLOCKTYPE_SYSCLK|RCC_CLOCKTYPE_PCLK1;
RCC_ClkInitStruct.SYSCLKSource = RCC_SYSCLKSOURCE_PLLCLK;
RCC_ClkInitStruct.AHBCLKDivider = RCC_SYSCLK_DIV1;
RCC_ClkInitStruct.APB1CLKDivider = RCC_HCLK_DIV2;
RCC_ClkInitStruct.APB2CLKDivider = RCC_HCLK_DIV1;
HAL_RCC_ClockConfig(&RCC_ClkInitStruct, FLASH_LATENCY_2);

PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_I2S;
PeriphClkInitStruct.PLLI2S.PLLI2SN = 271;
PeriphClkInitStruct.PLLI2S.PLLI2SM = 12;
PeriphClkInitStruct.PLLI2S.PLLI2SR = 2;
HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct);

HAL_SYSTICK_Config(HAL_RCC_GetHCLKFreq()/1000);

HAL_SYSTICK_CLKSourceConfig(SYSTICK_CLKSOURCE_HCLK);

}

I can compile and run everithing ok, but I have several lines marks as bug. Take a look at this:

how can I solve this issue?

I selectd add low level drivers in the project as static external libraries.
Is it the correct way to add hal library and share it with every project on the workspace?

thank!

France

Yes, adding low level drivers as external libraries will allow to share them between projects in the workspace.

Regarding your errors, these are errors generated by Eclipse due to indexing errors. You should be able to correct these by re-indexing your workspace: On the application and library project you could right click >> Index >> Rebuild

Bernard

Thank, that solved my problem!
