Java Error: Return Exit Code 13

Hi,
I have installed STM32 work bench on windows 10 64 bit OS laptop. When I am trying to open workbench ID i am getting the error which is attached herewith.
Kindly let me know which version of Java need to be installed or any best solution to resolve it.

Regards,
Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,

Which version of System Workbench for STM32 did you install ? (32bits or 64bits? the two can be installed on Windows thanks to their compatibility version. But, System Workbench can only run with same architecture as the Java RE).

Please install Java RE 8 and System Workbench matching your system architecture:

Don’t forget to uninstall the previous Java and System Workbench to avoid any path or installation issues.
Hope it works.

Regards,
Kevin.

Hi Kevin,
I have installed 64 bits, so jre-8u201-windows-x64.exe should need to be installed given in the path in your reply?

Regards,
Ramesh

Hi,

Yes, it is the optimized version for your system.

Kevin.
