SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

System Workbench for STM32

Another DOS-ism to be fixed

New project generated via MX - In Properties -> C/C++ Settings -> MCU GCC Linker -> General

The linker script is specified as ..\STM32F072RBTx_FLASH.ld

The backslash only workd for DOS/Windows. A forward slash works for DOS/Win, OS X and Linux. Please make this change.

If this is a Cube rather than a Workbench issue please let me know and I will post to the ST forum.

many thanks,
hank

Hi Hank,

Indeed, this is a problem on the ST HAL firmwares used by CubeMX and System Workbench for Linux users. Our team has already sent a bug report to ST.

Hope it will be fixed on the next firmware version.
