SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

live watch, live variable update on debug

please add live watch variable update
thanks

Hi,

This is on our wish list, but we have to find a way to be sure it will not be intrusive with respect to real-time operation of the target system so it will only appear if we found an appropriate way to do it.

Is this still not implemented yet? Just checking. Thanks!

I am using NUCLEO-F302R8

NXP can do it with their MCUXpresso Eclipse IDE, so I guess you can do it as well. No luck yet?

Is this still not implemented yet?

Any new updates to this live variable watch feature? Or does anyone know of any alternative tools (which are free) that can do this? I’m using the Nucleo L476RG.

Updates on this feature would be greatly appreciated, even if the solution isn’t perfect.

The ST CubeMXIDE can do it fine as it is supported by the cpu.
However the new releases of spin3202 seems to use code only compatible to System WEorkbench STM32...

ST Cube IDE can just only watch and CAN NOT modify any variables, i just CAN NOT believe this function is not a basic requirements. Look at TI’s CCS, Keil, Renesas CS+...What a fxxk that i downloaded this ide and try many things to imigrate my code from cude ide to it and find it is also CAN NOT achieve live expression functions.
